About the Author

Hello there—I’m Andy, the author, illustrator and creator of Messages to My Little One.

I was born in a small village where cows left their poop in the streets, and little joys were found in the simplest things.

Then one day, I was sitting on a big plane, my mother, father and sister beside me, as we flew to a new land.

In this new land, it was cold, and for a while we slept in sleeping bags on the floor.

Four sleeping bags huddled together, creating a big cozy cloud. As I closed my eyes to sleep, I pulled my sleeping bag up to my neck, stretched out my little legs, and listened to the sounds of my family settling in beside me—my sister next to me, my mother and father surrounding us.

I shivered with excitement, and fell asleep.
