You are guided by virtues that are true and pure. There are infinite factors we cannot control, but principles are what we develop to trust ourselves in the future.
In life and work, many will question your virtue. Some will do so with certainty and command. Take this in stride; everyone seeks to preserve their own esteem.
You must do the same. Stay rooted in your beliefs and trust yourself first, before reacting to any statement, fact, or comment made about you, no matter how confidently it’s delivered. Do not react or feel immediately apologetic.
Do not allow others to uproot your virtues or shake your soul. React first with suspicion toward them, and ask yourself: What stake do they have in undermining me? Why should I untrust myself when I know I am guided by virtue and principles? Should I attend to this disruption?
Trust yourself first before others. Trust in the basic human virtues behind every action you make and have made.
